Both of us have studied art and share a passion for artwork framing that enhances our clients' pieces. Joneene brings 25 years of industry experience in Brisbane. Australian ethically sourced raw hardwood timbers known also as Tasmanian Oak and Victorian Ash are on trend, perfectly suiting scandi/modern design styles, and are available in several moulding profiles, including 3 depths of float frames ideal for canvas art framing. This sustainable native timber is ethically grown and milled in Australia, showcasing the soft organic tones of sand, pink, and grey. Each length of moulding is solid timber, featuring individual and unique grains and patterns.
Replacing broken glass in frames is a common request. Bring in your frame, we can fit new glass to size with the artwork, tape seal the backing ready to hang again.
In our framing studio we offer custom framing services for glass orders up to 40 x 60” in various options:
~ standard clear (45%uv)
~ Conservation clear (99% UV)
~ Ultra Vue or AR (anti-reflective) glass is another excellent choice; it offers an amazingly clear finish with 78% UV protection, minimal glare, and enhances the colours of your artwork.
~ Reflection control (matte finish filtered glass) is also available in both 45% and 99% UV.
Artworks can be sentimental treasures, and we value preserving them for the future. Just like our furnishings and decorating style evolves, so does art framing; what suited your taste in the 90’s may not reflect your style today.
